Warming house
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 by gwenThe combination of my friend purchasing his first home (condo) and my craft itch sent me running straight to the sewing machine. I recently bought this great fabric from Ikea, and immediately knew that I wanted to turn it into a fabric box of sorts. After searching locally for the right type of extra heavy interfacing, and failing miserably, I gave up and ordered online.
It’s hot in Florida
Wednesday, May 7th, 2008 by gwenYes, obviously it’s hot in Florida this time of year, but it always seems to surprise me each time I visit. So much humidity, so little time. The whole reason for my trip was to visit with my family for my sister’s graduation. Early Friday morning we all piled into my dad’s little Nissan, and drove into Orlando to watch her walk at UCF.
