The Berkshires

We finished the reno on our condo, moved in, had our housewarming party, and last weekend, we took a short trip with our friends out to the Berkshires. Nick and the other boys spent Saturday racing Battenkill, and myself and the ladies (and Buckley) spent the day hiking.
We stayed in the adorable little B&B I found – had the entire farm house to ourselves. Great food, wine and company all weekend. The farmhouse was built in 1780, and the rooms are usually rented out separately but since no one else was staying at the B&B that night, we were able to stretch out and enjoy all the common areas of the house. One of my favorite parts about the farm house were all the old random pieces around the house – like a giant wooden wool spinner, antique little notepads, beautiful ottomans, clawfoot tubs, lots of old books in the library.
