Today feels like the kind of fall day where all the leaves blow off the trees.
I can’t wait to spend this weekend with Nick at Mt. Washington celebrating our “cotton” anniversary. No plans, no schedules, no crackberries.
Oh my, there’s nothing like hanging out in rural Maine for a half-gorgeous fall weekend. My Mashburn parents decided to join us for a weekend of cyclocross racing (Nick), and spectating (the rest of us). We all woke up early (for me) Saturday morning to drive up to New Gloucester Maine, and the whole time I think we were all secretly hoping that the rain would either clear out by Nick’s 1pm start time, or that it would miss Maine altogether. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.
